This is a brand new AC OR DC electric forward and reversing motor switch, Made in USA!
Exact replacement fit to South Bend and many other small lathes. It will work with 110 volt, or 230 volt, single phase, rated up to a full 2 HP (1.5hp at 120 volt, 2hp all other)! It is also rated for dc motors and 3 phase power , up to 550 volt!as well as single phase It is in the origional box, w/ all paper work, There is a full wiring diagram on the inside of the cover, EZ hook up. There are three postions for the switch, middle = off, left is 1 direction, and right is the other direction. There are six screw terminal as well, 2 for each pole of the switch. Well made, all copper contacts and complete with all hardware! The body is 2 3/8" wide, x 2 3/4" deep x 3 3/4" long. There are several industry standard bolt hole patterns on the back, typically matching most old switches.This is BRAND new. It will fit Bridgeports, milling machines, conveyers, as well as shapers, power feeders, and drill presses (think power tapping , very useful) with out drilling any holes
