Consists of : (1) model TL-72 rotary extruder, approx 14" diameter rotor, electrically heated, water cooled. 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" feed throat with a Plasticolor 3000 proportioning unit. Driven by an approx 60 hp dc motor thru a Falk reducer, ratio 9.179:1. Discharges into a model 79 gear pump, driven by an approx 15 hp dc motor thru a Falk reducer, ratio 20.5:1. Unit mounted on a common frame with contorl panel.
