This manual covers operations, maintenance and servicing of the Tektronix 5CT1N Oscilloscope Plugin. It is scanned from the original manufacturer's (interim) manual. The scans came out well, and all information available in the original manual is available here. Chapters are: Characteristics, Basic Sequential Sampling Principles, Operating Instructions, Circuit Description, Calibration Procedure, Electrical Parts List, Diagrams, Schematics and Illustrations, and Mechanical Parts List.
Two PDFs of the manual are provided, in two resolutions. One is:
Text with Drawings at 600dpi black and white or grayscale (content-dependent)
Schematics at 600dpi black and white or grayscale (content-dependent)
Text with photos at 600dpi (minimum) grayscale with contrast adjusted
Schematics, overlays with color notes (if any) at 600dpi 256 colors (minimum)
The other PDF is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed.
Also, We include a "foldouts.pdf" with the foldout pages from the manual scanned at 17x11". Please note that the foldout pages are ALSO included sectioned as 8.5x11" pages in the main manual.
We send you both both resolutions on the CD. You'll receive the large file, plus the smaller, faster text-searchable version, plus the A3 "foldouts" file. That way, you can navigate, search and etceteras with the fast file and only use the large files when you want to print. There's no need to clutter up your drives with PDFs hundreds of megabytes in size, nor any need to spend time writing them to and from the hard drive if you aren't the sort who likes to waste space. Yet those extra-large PDFs are still provided for when you need exceptional print quality. All original manual pages are supplied in both resolutions, with no pages added or subtracted.
WE ARE THE ORIGINAL CREATORS OF THESE PDFs!
1. We didn't have to go through and remove digital signatures and etceteras, meaning far less chance of a missing page.
2. On the off-chance that you should find a missing page, we have the original paper copy and so can correct any errors.
