* Needs new sealing/heating wires.
We plugged this unit in and turned it on. The relays are switching on and off and the unit appears to be working. There is a problem that we know of and it needs new wire elements. The ones that are on it are old and one is broken. I used a little trick that I have learned to make a connection, and I was able to get intermitent contact. This unit has a switch on the pull down bar that is adjustable, and when the bar is press down to seal a package, the switch activates, turning on the wires, and a buzzer sounds on the unit to let you know the wires are hot.
