The BAU (Alarm Point) Access Units are used in conjunction with telecomm networks to monitor doors at remote sites for personnel entries.
The BAU aids network monitoring centers by eliminating the thousands of nuisance alarms from routine door openings.
When armed, the unit will detect a door opening, issue an alarm to the remote, and sound a 120db buzzer.
When a valid access coide is entered, the audible alarm will be silenced. An invalid code entry will NOT silence the alarm.
