CI Hayes 14" Belt Furnace 2300F 6' Hot Zone
CI Hayes 14" Wide Belt Furnace 2300F 6' Hot Zone
Machine Condition: Used, Very Good
Machine Size (H/L/W): 8'/32'/6'
Approximate Machine Weight: 10,000 lbs.
Controls: Standard Belt Furnace Controls
The furnace has 3 separate zones of control, although there is some “cross-over†from adjacent zones. The furnace profile can be arranged for cool-to-hot or the reverse.
2050F is right in the sweet spot for the furnace capability. It can be run on natural gas (they probably want to run it through a gas cracker to make it exothermic).
The Hayes belt has a used but intact belt, which is in fair-to-good shape. There is no spare belt. We ran the furnace right up to the end of last May, after which we immediately removed it from the floor. The description you show below is the correct one for this belt. Hot zone length = 6 ft, cooling zone length = approx. 20 ft., furnace is constructed of stainless steel, unit was purchased new in 1998 (I think this is correct), controllers are Honeywell UDC-3000. Belt speed is adjustable from 1 ipm to 14 ipm. Heck the scrap value for the belt alone is close to $2K.
Freight costs to be quoted at time of sale from zip code 06787.
All freight costs to be paid by the purchaser.
