The Genesis Dual Panel Applicator provides simple and effective labeling of both front and side panels of pallets without turning or stopping the pallet, all while utilizing only one labeling head. The main components of the system are: the Genesis labeling head with support stand, the dual panel applicator with a tamp pad mounted “Smart†eye, two product detect photo eyes, and a PLC. The PLC controls the dual panel applicator and produces an error signal should the applicator get out of sequence to prevent two different labels from being applied to the same pallet. Various output signals can be provided by the PLC and the Genesis.
