Trinocular Microscope Video Zoom System
This is the type of video microscope that you can work under and view in real time with maximum resolution without a computer. It is not digital, most the digital CCD cameras can only keep up to 30FPS (frames per second) by reducing the quality of the video.
If you need or want to capture live video or a snapshot to insert into a document or e-mail, most computer outlets (like Fry's electronics) sell video to USB adapters with software. Kworld's DVD maker USB2.0 ($39.95 Fry's Electronics) works very well.
This is very nice and affordable Trinocular Video Zoom Microscope. The system uses all brand name equipment and just works great. The system includes everything you will need to properly operate the system. The trinocular optics are parfocal (will stay in focus as you zoom in and out). The optics produce clean clear images at all magnifications. The 8" color touchscreen LCD monitor has all on screen adjustments and produces extremely sharp images. The JVC CCD color camera is used but fully tested and produces a bright sharp image (see pics). The Nikon microscope base is used and is in great shape. The Nikon fiber optic light source is used but has a new 150W lamp. The flexible fiber optic light guide lets you adjust the light to any angle for the best illumination of the object to be viewed, proper lighting is extremely important with video microscopes. All the used equipment works like new.
I show a picture of the microscope displaying a computer screen - this is to show you can also connect a computer to the system (computer not included). If you were to purchase a video to USB adapter (as mentioned above) you could use the touchscreen and adapter together and when you wanted to take a snapshot of the video just touch the screen (the touchscreen replaces your mouse).
