Each cluster can produce a pure red, pure green, or mixed red/green=yellow color. The LEDs are extremely bright.
The clusters were originally packaged in brittle black plastics of some sort. In experimenting with them, I did break some of the plastic off, including some of the cables. Nonetheless, they can be salvaged:
Three clusters are in a condition in which the cables can be hooked up immediately. The other three are missing one or two cables. However, the cables merely lead to the PCB on which the LEDs are soldered. After breaking off the black plastic, new cables can be attached.
Again, all of them work - I've tested them individually. Great for lighting projects, which is what I intended them for originally.
