These sturdy lineberry carts were manufactured for a North Carolina furniture factory, now closed down, over 50 years. They were built of thick oak and designed to move heavy pieces.
Each cart has four wheels for stability - two larger wheels, one on each side, and two smaller wheels, one in the front and one in the back, for steering and maneuverability.
The surface of the carts is 27 by 48 inches. They are 16.5 inches tall. The weight is estimated to be around 80 pounds.
These carts were built by craftsmen who built them to last.
These are functional and ready to be put to work. Or, I have even seen them used as decorative items. Cleaned and polished, they make excellent display bases or even coffee tables.
