Don't let the name "clock face" limit your thinking, it's just what they call this type of display. These go into all sorts of appliances, electronic meters, and electronic devices of all kinds. Anyplace that four digit displays are used you can find one of these behind the plexiglas window. You can use this to replace a faulty display in many instances, to build a clock circuit or any other device that requires a 7-segment numerical display (I recall several very good projects that used similar displays including one for a DMM.
Ok, here's what to expect from the grading I gave this record. I use the Goldmine standard with a bow to DISCoveries. That means that there's a grade between NM and VG+; EX. For those of you who haven't heard of either of these standards, they are as follows:
Mint-Brand new, fresh bought, never opened, perfect in every way.
NM (near mint)-Opened, maybe played, but who can tell?
EX (Excellent)-Played, but sparingly, vinyl is still very shiny.
VG+ (Very Good +)-Played, but well taken care of, may have an inaudible flaw, like a skate mark. Still shiny.
VG (Very Good)-Very played, will have minor scratches which will probably be audible.
VG- (Very Good -)-Played a LOT. Will have more than minor scratches, but will play through. If it's not rare, I won't bother listing these. (Garage sale record)
G (Good)-Will play through but with substantial deterioration of the sound. (see note below)
P (Poor)-May play, but who wants to gamble their stylus?
Note: Of these last two grades, I won't waste your time or mine by listing any UNLESS, the recording is extremely rare. If it doesn't book for over $XXXX.00 it's not worth anything to anybody!
That covers the vinyl, the sleeve (cover) grading is pretty much the same so I'll skip past Mint and NM and go to the grades where flaws start.
EX-Extremely minor flaw. If it has a (1) minor flaw that you have to hunt for, it made this grade.
VG+ -Has a small visible flaw.
If you don't have your name included at the bottom of your text, then I do not have anyone to respond to. No name, no response.
