Electronic Stethoscope can be used for leak detection listen to water meters hosebibs, valves, hydrants and any contact points with the line that is leaking to find the leak air, gas, water, Mechanical noise detection bearings, ect.
The detector operates off of a 9 volt batt. and is compact and easy to use the extra long probe is handy for hard to reach valves and pipes in a boiler room or under sinks also for testing on slab leaks without getting down on your knees.
The short probe is good for leaks outside you can use it by pushing a seperate rod into the ground over the pipe to be tested and listening to it with the short probe to find leaks in dirt.
Easy to use if you can hear and have any basic skills you can use this detector.
