I know very little about heavy duty industrial tools. My friend sold his business and I bought his overstock, broken lots, and surplus inventory. I really need to turn this over. All the tools are new but had been in storage for a very long time. Some might have been lightly used in his shop. Most are dirty.
This battery tester places a load on the battery being tested - much more reliable than a volt-meter or hygrometer. It was listed as "new" but it looks used to me - perhaps just around the shop. Works fine.
For 12, 8, and 6 volt batteries. No amperage rating was shown but I'm guessing it is good to about 150 amps.
