One 10mm blue led - 2 "AA" Alkaline batteries
Led only draws 53ma at 3 volts DC
Nothing else needed except to steal the globe off the light at the head of the driveway. I bought a plastic one at Home Depot for $6.97 - which is outrageous for a 6" round piece of plastic.
