Welder's 90-degree Heavy Duty Steel Corner Clamp
I sure wish I'd had one of these corner clamps a while ago. I was building a rectangular steel frame requiring four 90-degree corner joints (ironically, for a welder cart!). I clamped and held and adjusted and...well, you get the idea. Needless to say, this corner clamp makes such tasks a lot easier.
The clamp is made of cast iron and is very heavy, to provide stability while in use. It can be clamped into a vise to secure it, and has replaceable steel jaws. The threads on the steel adjusting rods are machined for consistency, strength and accuracy; the jaws themselves are 2-3/8 inch X 1-1/2 inch and are grooved horizontally for gripping tubing or other metal stock besides flat or angle stock. The device is large enough that after clamping your work into it, there is ample room to tack weld the job to allow it to be moved without coming apart.
This is a very useful tool for the hobbyist, shop or repair facility that has ever had to build a right-angle corner. It'll help your projects take on that professional look, since your angles will be consistent and much neater. In addition, you'll find that you won't be using your welder to fill the gaps you had when you originally fit the pieces together!
