This microscopeis designed for the specimens/slides that arenot transparent. In this case, the optical systemis not able to receive the transmitted lightsfrom the bottom so the reflected EPI lightingsystem is introduced. The light goes down throughthe objective and reflected by the specimen andtravels back to eyepieces and camera(if mounted)through the same objective. Unlike other metallurgicalmicroscopes on the market, this one has a quaduplenosepiece, instead of a triple nosepiece. It alsocomes with 5 high quality PLAN field achromaticobjectives (the top level of objectives) whichprovide up to 1600x magnification. It gives youwide range of the magnifications and more flexibilities.The long vertical focusing travel distance (2")and large stage movement range allow thick andlarge specimens. It also has a photo port/tubeto accomodate cameras for the computers or themonitors. The power supply is 100v-240v universalfor worldwide use. This microscope is perfectfor metallurgical and electronic industries.
The package comeswith a high resolution 2MP high speed USB 2.0camera. You may hook it up on any computers withWindows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista. You can see livemotions or take pictures by just a click.
