The TMS 99532ANL FSK (Frequency-Shift-Key) modem is a telecommunication device (commo device) which transmits and receives binary serial data over switched telephone network using FSK. The TMS 99532 is compatible with Bell 103 Series data standard, and it will communicate at up to 300 baud (bits per second). The 99532 provides all the necessary modulation, demodulation and filtering required to implement a serial asynchronous communication system. Features include Simplex, Half-Duplex and Full-Duplex capability, and Originate and Answer Mode capabilities. Switched capacitor technology. This IC is relatively simple to use, making it ideal for beginning circuit designers.
