This is a Tektronix 1503B time domain reflectometer TDR metallic cable tester. It is used to locate faults in cables and wiring up to 50,000 feet long. The 1503 is the long range companion to the high resolution 1502. The 1502 and 1503 TDRs are probably the most popular TDRs ever built. They are designed to military specifications and are very rugged and reliable. Original selling price is over $11,000.
This unit is in excellent operating condition. It has just been cleaned, tested, and calibrated. The case is in good cosmetic condition.
