Ad is submitted by poster: This supply is a Voltage Source, so it will source the current needed to acheive the output voltage setpoint. It must have the HV sense hooked to the load so that it can regulate the output.
The power supply is simply controlled through the rear panel interface 25pin dsub connector. There is no interlock connection. It requires a 10VDC power supply to operate the controls. 2 to 10V is needed to enable the HV output. A 0-10V signal is used to control the output voltage, this can be done with a potentiometer( preferably a 10 turn 10kohm pot) across the 10V source or with a variable 10 Volt power supply. There are output voltage and current monitor signals, and they are scaled for 0-10V.
