Alcatel Dual Stage Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump
The Alcatel 2020A dual stage rotary vane mechanical vacuum pump has applications for use in general vacuum applications in industrial processes and research laboratories. The specifications for this pump are as follows:
Single Phase 115/208 VAC (Wired for 120VAC, 60Hz)
We tested this unit using a ~1 cubic foot bell jar as our pump-down vessel.
This pump took approximately 4 minutes to bring the apparatus down to 1 mm/Hg. It continued to go down as you can see from the picture of the gauge. This unit has been operated at our facility for more than 24 hrs and we think it is working great! As you can see from the photos, it is in excellent condition. The pump has a small blemish where the aluminum colling fin on the pump is chipped, however it works even better than it looks.
