This meter has been calibrated to conform to the specifications contained in a USAF technical order. The meter has been throughly cleaned internally and externally and a set of probes, a hi-voltage prod and a brand new current shunt are included inside the matching protective cover.(see the 2nd photo)

Average resistance error across all SIX ranges - 0.02%!
Average AC voltage error across FIVE ranges - 0.65%!
Average DC voltage error across FIVE ranges - 0.47%!
These are better specs than most modern digital meters!
To demonstrate that this meter has been refurbished to include the critical ohms function, please look closely at the 3rd photograph. The meter is set on the ohms times 100 scale and a 1Kohm resistor is shown being measured. This particular resistor is exactly 994.833 ohms. You will notice that the needle is very slightly to the left of the 10 on the ohms scale. Exactly Correct!
