I am selling a CSTS SMTRS Surface Mount Rework Station.
This item was purchased as surplus from a government agency and was in the original boxes. We assembled it to test it and to take pictures.
We powered this unit up and were able to verify that the computer powers up, the cameras are working and both the upper and lower heaters are working. It comes with 2 cases. One contains a Mini Micro single site stencil printer (MSP-100) and the other contains a variety of accessories for the SMTRS.
This is the second one of these that we had and one of the boxes was missing. This box contained the original software, manuals and upper thermocouples. We have copies of the software and a scanned copy of the manuals from the first machine but we do not have the thermocouples. The upper thermocouples in the first machine were marked Saunders Temprobe B and are available from Saunders.

The purpose of the SMTRS is to enable you to quickly and effectively remove and install individual surface mount electronic components on a variety of different circuit card assemblies. This gives you a repair capability that surpasses that of conventional soldering technology.
