this item is a permissible toxic gas dector.This instrument is a personal,pocket size sesing and warning device for continous monitoring of toxic gasses or vapors in the ambient workplace air.It is intended that the instrument be worn on the indidual to be alerted of toxic enviroments. The user is given a numeric diplay reading as well as a visual and audible warning if the alarm set point concertration is exeeded.this alarm level is a factory preset at the tlv valve and may be user adjustedup to 3 times the tlv value. the instrument employs a scratch resistant,high impact plastic case which is shielded against radio frequency interference(rfi).the case contains two printed circuit boards with intergral audible and visual alarms,a liquid crystal diplay,a nine volt battery ,and a high performance electrochemical sensor.the sensor produces an eletrical sinal directly porportional to the amount of gas in the ambient air and which activates audioble and visual alarms when the level detected exceeds the alarm set point. if this is not the item your looking for then you should check out our other store listings.we might just have what your looking for.
