Truly an innovation in the Fall Protection Industry, the new "U-RES-Q" made by FrenchCreek is in it's own dimension.
The U-RES-Q is a small lightweight pouch permanently attached to the working end of the shock absorbing lanyard. On the inside is a coiled webbing l\rescue ladder made from 3000 lb. tensile nylon, with a total length of 16 feet. In the event of the slightest fall, the U-RES-Q pouch starts its rescue mode by shooting the rescue ladder out of the bottom toward the fallen worker. All 16 feet of the rescue ladder are deployed, still hooked to the anchor, and hanging next to the fallen worker
With fall-protection concerns in the limelight, rescue issues are often overlooked. The OSHA fall protection standards state that "The employer shall provide for prompt rescue of employees in the event of a fall or shall assure that employees are able to rescue themselves." The U-RES-Q assures that conscious fallen workers will have the chance to rescue themselves.
