This is a nice WORKING Geiger counter with a metal probe, detects BETA and GAMMA emitting isotopes like Radium, Sr-90 and Cs 137! These can help you protect yourself from harmful radiation exposure or help you find small parts rocks etc that are radioactive. A good example would be watch repair, if you drop a radium painted watch hand this thing will find it quickly before your cat, kid, vacuum etc gets to it.
