This is a USED DC Voltmeter, which was once used for measuring 0-35KVDC (3,500 VDC). I have REMOVED the “Kilo†from the scale, so now it just reads “DC Voltsâ€, rather than DC Kilovolts. I also installed a parallel resistance, using a fixed resistor AND a precision pot, across the two rear power leads. The recalibration of this ADJUSTABLE resistive circuit is actually pretty good and it works well for the intended measurement scale of 0-35VDC.
