Oberon Face-Fit UV Absorbing FaceShield
The 171AFR faceshield provides excellent protection in work environments where chemicals or UV light are a concern. Injection molding ensures that polycarbonate window retains its shape and guarantees optical correctness. No waves or distortion to blur vision.
All faceshields feature an integral crown that withstands impact. Nonmetallic parts make faceshield ideal for use in environments where dielectric properties are required. One-piece design eliminates the problem of separating, which could create a hazard to the wearer. Lightweight construction.
Window dimensions: 14W x 8H x 1/16 in. thick (36cm x 20cm x 1.6mm). Shields come with one window. Replacement windows are available. Meet ANSI Z87.1-1989 (R-1998) standards.
Note: Faceshields should be used in conjunction with protective spectacles or goggles to ensure appropriate eye protection against chemical splash or impact.
Special additive within window increases protection from UV light up to 405nm. With antifog coating on inside surface. Provides UV light protection to the face when working with UV light-emitting lamps in industrial, medical, and laboratory applications. Not suitable for intense laser-type applications. (Note: Not intended for welding.)
