While this was originally manufactured for sleds, it can be used for many other items. Locking recreational vechiles to trailers or docks as long as they fit between the 3/4" bars. Would also work on gates or other items you want to lock down, as long as what you want to fit this lock around will go between the two bars with the 3/4' wide opening. There is a p.o. box address for the company that manufactured them on the lock, but this is no longer in use by the company that manufactured them. They come with an instruction sheet attached to them. It gives the instructions on the back and a brief description on the front of the sheet. Suggested retail price listed on the front of sheet is 49.95.
