All about the steel used in cutting and machining. There are chapters on plain carbon, alloy and high-speed steels, heat treatments, quenching, grinding, hardness testing, decarburization, stress relieving, welding, carburizing, fatigue failures etc. There is also about 30 pages on treatments for specific steels. Lots of photos, drawings and tables.
The book is soft cover with medium-weight cardboard covers, 8†x 10.5†with 82 pages. Excellent condition.
