The MC7905CT negative voltage regulator is an industry standard -5VDC voltage regulator, equiv. to the LM7905CT type 7905 voltage regulator. Especially handy if you want to add a linear or amplifier section to a 5 VDC logic circuit and can substitute the 5 volt transformer for a split 10 volt transformer. Also very handy for some interface ICs, such as A/D converters and D/A converters.Versatile and easy-to-use - great for all kinds of circuit jobs you have - especially RF and ultrasonic - including class and science fair projects, and learning tool for electronics.
