AGA Full Face Mask “Accessory Rail Systemâ€
By mounting lights and other accessories to the FFM a Diver has both hands free to complete tasks.
** The AGA Full Face Mask pictured is not included. It is shown to demonstrate how the rail system is used.
The Accessory rail system easily attaches to the AGA full face mask, and makes it possible to mount various devices to the sides of the mask. Lights, video cameras/video lights, sonar, manifold blocks, and welding visors are examples of the equipment that work well with this system. Using the “Rail/Slide†system, devices are attached to the removable slide which is then slid onto the rail. The slide can be released from the rail by pressing the release button. This quick disconnect feature allows surface support to quickly exchange, or replace devices as the mission dictates without removing the mask from the diver, or the diver from the water. Extra "Slides" can be purchased so each item to be mounted is ready for quick placement on the "Rail".
One rail may be used, or two may be mounted (one on each side). The attachment method does not interfere with commonly used surface breathing valves. When using mask mounted lights we recommend two rail systems (one for each side of mask).
This device is not mass produced, it is hand made. The rail and slide are manufactured from a high quality synthetic formula containing UV inhibitors. Metal components are made using stainless steel wire (with brass nuts).
** Lights, cameras, and other devices are purchased separately. If you let us know what device you are interested in attaching, we can recommend a method, or provide a custom mount to attach it to a slide.
