MOTOMAGNETIC® CDX Series Explosion-Proof Vibrators are designed for use in hazardous-duty locations with exposure to explosive gases or combustible dusts. They bear "hazardous-duty" certification from Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and Canadian Underwriters Laboratory (cUL) as well as European ATEX standards. See the attached picture of the nameplate that indicates the unit's ratings.
