John Deere Diesel Generator 60KW - Not Running
Here is a genset with a John Deere 4cyl Turbocharged diesel engine. Genset has been sitting for several years and doesn't run. I put a battery on it and it turns over but couldn't get it to fire. The engine and unit is complete except the starter key switch which is missing. Engine looks good and doesn't have any obvious defects or problems. The engine model is 4045TF150
The gen head is a 60KW with 120/240 1 phase and 3 phase connections. Genset is model Boss-JD-60. Unit can also produce 480v and 277v power by moving the dial switch on the control panel. Includes plugs for connecting tools and cords right to the generator.
Genset includes a sound proof enclosure with sound deadening material on the inside. There is also a large fuel tank in the base. I'd guess it to be between 100 and 200 gallons.
