We do NOT have a power-up key for this unit; a key will need to be made or a jumper permanantly installed in order for it to function.
I ran a jumper across the terminals of the key-switch to power this controller up - it powered up fine. I can see no reason physical reason why this unit would not function properly but I have no experience with this type of device and should not be considered an expert.
