* 18 watt energy-efficient compact fluroscent which produces 130 footcandles at 15" above the surface.
* Light can be used with spectrum bulb for correct color viewing (bulb not supplied).
* Lense is 16 diopter precision ground crown optical glass lens.
* Arm is 40"- has counter balancing springs and joints for instant adjustment to any position or direction.
* Base with clamp works great on desk, table or headboard up to 2 3/4" thick.
This item sells for right around $340 regularly. You can get it here for under $220, due to a piece of plastic cracked on the underside. It has been epoxied and is shown in the one picture. The light will be fine.
