Up for sale 1 Russian/Soviet (USSR) power triode tube GM-70 with a GRAPHITE PLATE. The tube in the listing are brand new taken from the surplus inventory.
GM-70 is a direct heated triode output tube with very large plate surface. The tubes are very popular in power amps, providing deep and powerful bass response.
GM-70 tube has similar characteristics to the RCA845 Triode and is one of the finest sounding high power triodes available.
Please note that GM-70 is not a direct replacement of the 845 tube. It has similar characteristics, but uses different socket and requires higher filament voltage (about 20V).
