Please compare with other cables out there. There are many SJ/SJTO/SJO & others that seem simmilar to the SO/SOO 20a 120/240v cords but, they are not for Extra Heavy duty use. This heavy duty cable will tolarate loads extremely heavy. On a typical surface a family vehicle would not damage the cord assembly. For those not familiar with cable assembies .... This is one of the most durable cords on the market.
