Some people call them "Acorn nuts" or "Cap nuts" or "end Nuts"
They are left over from an installation of play equipment at a local Chuckie Cheese.
Great for any 3/8" bolt or threaded rod that could be a dangerous sharp edge.
Great for inside geodesic domes that are built with 3/8" bolts
I searched the net for nylon acorn nuts and could not find any the same as
these, but here is a link to the only one I found, jsut to give an idea on pricing.
