Note: This machine is designed so that the grinding
wheel swivels drawing the form of the arc. The
motor provided sets up an idependaent, reciprocating
or inching arc motion. The grinder head operates
without stick slip and develops a smooth arc motion.
Because of linear acceleration and deceleration
accomplished by the transistor invertor, the swivel
motion begins and stops smoothly, and free selection
of swivelling speed is available. The helical motion
to the work can be given synchronously with the
swivel motion of the grinder head, and adjustment
of the twist in R section, in addition to the
twist in the margin, can be made arbitrarily,
enabling you to generate spiral-formed rake face
on the R section of your hand-made ball end mill.
