This is one of the famous MOPA Laser Diodes SDL made between 97'-99'. They were discontinued after JDS Uniphase bought them out. Model# SDL-5762-X8
MOPA stands for ( Master Oscillator Power Amplifier). and is an injection seeded and amplified laser diode and produces single mode at high power.
You will need 2 drivers to power it. One for the seed laser anode @ 200ma's, one for the amplifier anode @ 1.77 Amps, and the 2 cathodes are tied together from both drivers. Also there are pins for the TEC and 10K thermistor. This is considered a 980nm diode even though it is doing 986nm's @ 25 C*. Cool it a little more to get the 980nm if that's what you require.
Only have the one for now, but may be able to get one more.
